Hoxsey treatment still available
1987
Lowell, J.A.
A detailed report describes the unorthodox operation of the Hoxsey Bio-Medical Center in Tijuana, Mexico, run by a registered nurse, for the presumed treatment of cancer. The report cites specific cases discounting the effectiveness of this treatment and the high risks it presents in misleading cancer patients away from more effective, proven, orthodox therapy. Information developed during a personal visit to this Center is described. The Center was developed by the late Harry Hoxsey, who was convicted several times for practicing medicine without a license in Illinois, Iowa, and Texas. Tragic cases of such treatment are cited.(wz)
