Extract: The purpose of this study is to develop information useful to officials of the town of Kaw City, Oklahoma, as they make decisions affecting local fire protection service. such decisions are particularly important to Kaw City since the development of nearby Kaw Lake by the U.S. corps of Engineers is likely to result in significant community growth. some such growth has already occured and much more is expected. because of these growth expectations, this study includes analyses of Kaw City fire protection service under current conditions and under projected conditions for the year 2000.
