Study on Role Performance of Farm Women Engaged in Different Agricultural Activities

The study was conducted in Akola district of Maharashtrastate. For present study 120 farm women selected from 12 villages of Shegaon Taluka of Buldhana district of vidhrbha region by using random sampling method, for identification of role performance of farm women engaged in different activities related to agriculture field by using exploratory design of social research. It was observed that63.16 per cent women members found to be in a young age categoryi, e up to the 35 years, whereas 41.66 per cent having education up to middle level. Majority of respondents (83.33%) belonged to medium family size i.e. 4 to 7 members. With respect to number of working membersof farm women family show that the majority (93.33%) of respondent's families 2 to 3 were working. Majority farm women (83.33%) belongs to medium category of value orientation.
