[Evaluation of andrological status and semen morphology in A.I. bulls]

Clinical andrological examination was carried out on 37 four-six year old bulls at three A.I. stations. Morphological evaluation of semen samples was performed after the determination of sperm concentration and a progressive had been carried out. Various changes in of reproductive organs, such as disfuvction of caput epididymis, sperm granuloma, changes in the firmness of testicle and seminal vesicle glands were found in 27 of the bulls investigated. The bulls were assigned to two groups - group 1 - healthy and group 2 - having various disorders. Sperm concentration was 6,5 and motility - 1,5 higher in group 1. The persentage of morphologically abnormal spermatozoa on the average was 5,5 and 28,5 in group 1 and group 2 respectively.
