[The study of local filtering materials for drain protection in the silty soils]

The glass fiber peat have been used for arranging in silty soils for a long time. Sometimes these filters were not effective. Therefore during the reconstruction of drainage systems was investigated the suitability of non woven material 'melita' and others local filtering materials, such as flax boon and corn straw. New data obtained during investigation enable to improve the technology of drain protection from silting.
