Comparative study of using different diluents for freezing bull semen (in Iraq)

This study was undertaken to investigate the viability of bull semen in six diluents prepared locally. Results of these studies indicated that the acosomal damage was lower in (YLFG) and (TRIS) which were significantly different from Laciphose 478 at the level (P0.01) and (P0.01) respectively. The capability of the three diluents (YL), (YLF), and (YLG) to restore spermatozoal viability was significantly less than Laciphose 478
