Merza, T.K. | Al-Haddad, H.M. (Basrah Univ. (Iraq). Coll of Agriculture)
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of plant density and number of inflourescence per plant on early and total production per area. The results revealed that all the nine projects were economically appraising, while three projects (1,2,3 plant/hill) that has three inflorescences achieved lowest and earliest product in spite of their relatively higher prices and shortest growing periods. This ensures transplanting that ended upon season termination of other residual projects.
