1991
Ali, M.Y. | Hassan, A.K. (Mosul Univ. Coll. of Agric. and Forestry (Iraq))
From herds arround Mosul area twenty local goats were used in this study. The average milk yield was 400-500 g/day. The maximum daily yield obtained in the 10th-12th weeks of lactation period. The maximum fat percent obtained at the end of the lactation period. Total solids increased gradually and reached the maximum level at the end of lactation. Total solid, solids not fat, protein lactose and ash not showed significant results, during the lactation period, while fat percent was significant. Values for titratable acidity started increasing at the 2nd week reaching their maximum values at 10th week,PH specific gravity throughout the period of lactation
