English. [The effect of a feed protected acidifying agent on performances of rainbow trout was evaluated. After 110 d of feeding, productive parameters and somatic indexes were recorded. On 4 fishes for treatment the stomach and intestine pH was also monitored at starvation [t sub (0)] and 2, 4, 8, 12 and 24 h after meal. No significant differences were observed in performance traits. As to somatic indexes, statistically significant differences were found for dressing percentage and viscero-somatic index. Trend of stomach and intestine pH was similar in all treatments.]
Show more [+] Less [-]Italian. E´ stato valutato l´effetto di un acidificante protetto sulle prestazioni zootecniche di trota iridea. Dopo 110 giorni di alimentazione sono stati rilevati i parametri produttivi e gli indici somatici. Su 4 pesci per trattamento sono stati inoltre rilevati il pH stomacale e intestinale a digiuno [t inf (0)] e a 2, 4, 8, 12 e 24 ore dopo il pasto. Non sono emerse differenze significative per quanto attiene alle prestazioni zootecniche. Relativamente agli indici somatici, si sono evidenziate differenze statisticamente significative a carico della resa percentuale in carcassa e dell´indice viscerosomatico. L´andamento del pH stomacale è risultato simile in tutti i trattamenti, così come quello dell´intestino
