English. Infertility is one of the most important problems we have to afford during the management of a swine breeding herd. During the work, carried out for two years, within the "Club of Moretta" program, in a pig farm placed in the district of Cuneo, we often found this kind of problem, particularly regarding the aspect of the returns to oestrus. This work reports the analysis and the discussion of our experience, which once again shows the importance of multifactorial syndrome concept

Tra le numerose problematiche che si devono affrontare nella conduzione di un allevamento suino, non c'è dubbio che l'infertilità, nei suoi vari aspetti e nell'insieme delle conseguenze dirette e indirette che comporta, occupa un posto di primissimo piano. Durante il monitoraggio biennale da noi svolto, nell'ambito dell'iniziativa "Club di Moretta", presso un allevamento situato nella provincia di Cuneo, abbiamo riscontrato il frequente ripetersi di questo tipo di problema, in particolare per quanto riguarda l'aspetto dei ritorni in calore. Il presente lavoro offre quindi l'analisi e la discussione della nostra esperienza, che dimostra ancora una volta l'importanza del concetto di sindrome multifattoriale
