Four years of downy mildew control trials by using QoI fungicides [Vitis vinifera L.; grapevine; Piedmont; Quinone outside Inhibitors]

English. In vineyards highly conductive to downy mildew and powdery mildew, in years 2002- 2005, different QoI fungicides (azoxystrobin, famoxadone, fenamidone, pyraclostrobin) were tested. These products (always in partnership with other fungicides) have been employed from the third application, with a 10 day intervals calendar. The same experimental design was used for each active ingredient of the trial: in a treatment it has been employed repeating the application three times, in the other treatment twice, followed by a fungicide with a different way of action (usually dimethomorph + mancozeb or + copper) and then another application with QoI. The schedule had a light influence on the active ingredient efficacy, that shows a good effectiveness in the downy mildew control and, for azoxystrobin and pyraclostrobin solutions, also against powdery mildew

In vigneti soggetti ad attacchi di peronospora e di oidio sono stati saggiati, nel quadriennio 2002-2005, diversi fungicidi (azoxystrobin, famoxadone, fenamidone, pyraclostrobin) appartenenti al gruppo dei QoI. Tali prodotti (sempre associati ad altri principi attivi) sono stati impiegati a partire dal terzo trattamento con un programma a cadenze decadali. Per ognuno dei quattro principi attivi in prova si è adottato lo stesso schema sperimentale: su una tesi sono stati ripetuti tre volte di seguito, mentre su un'altra si è intervenuti due volte, più una dopo un fungicida a diverso meccanismo d'azione (solitamente dimethomorph + mancozeb oppure + rame). Il calendario ha poco influenzato l'efficacia dei formulati impiegati, che hanno dimostrato, tutti, ottima attività nella difesa antiperonosporica, confermata anche contro l'oidio per le miscele a base di azoxystrobin e pyraclostrobin
