English. In the field of studying and managing the problems closely linked with wild animals pathologies, the role of parasites inside the ecosystems is still considered a knot to loose. The reported experiences in the Alps, which go from the problems linked with the introduction of parasite species in a new ecosystem to those linked with the possible exchange of parasites among domestic animals and wild ruminants, show that man can, often indirectly and unconsciously, alter the natural balances. The scientific knowledge till now acquired, although needs further investigations, supplies cognitive factors, which can contribute to trace guide lines being able to warrant the protection and the preservation of natural resources

Le esperienze riportate nell'arco alpino, che vanno dalle problematiche connesse all'introduzione di una specie parassita in un nuovo ecosistema a quelle legate al possibile scambio di parassiti tra animali domestici e ruminanti selvatici, mostrano come l'uomo possa, spesso indirettamente e inconsciamente, alterare gli equilibri naturali
