For the purpose of study on the quality of three molter raw silk from changed by Anti-JH, quality test of raw silk and physicochemical properties of raw silk were examined and then compared with those of raw silk from four molter. The results were as follows: 1) Only the cleanness and neatness of raw silk samples were liable to variation by silkworm race and rearing season, and the results were inferior to controls. 2) It was thought that the poor cleanness and neatness of samples were not caused by material cocoons bust on manufacturing process. 3) The quality test of samples except the cleanness and neatness had no difference by silkworm race and rearing season, and the results were the same or superior to controls. From these, the quality of samples were excellent. 4) In the quality test of samples, tenacity was especially strong. 5) It was observed that the cause of the strong tenacity had some relations to crystalline region and ratio of calcium. 6) the percentage of sericin solubility of samples was small and the ratio of whole sericin was little. 7) On physical properties of samples, tenacity was stronger, flexibility was richer and compressional resilience was larger. From the above results, it was concluded that the quality of three molter raw silk from changed by Anti-JH was stabilized under various factors, besides, the raw silk samples were excellent quality of like fine size. If you can take care of cleanness and neatness which are born on reeling process, three molter raw silk from changed by Anti-JH is usable for textile goods of high quality
