To determine the condition of solar radiation, growth and photosynthetic rates of trees grown in the shade around structures, some observations were made. To analyze the conditions suitable for the planting of trees under shade conditions around structure, the distribution of solar radiation and the photosynthetic capacity of some plants planted around the structures were estimated by computer simulation. This method in which the distributions of them were easily demonstrated on the display or x-y plotter gave information about the planting of trees around structures
