The universal use tractor monitor called "implemate" was developed, by which a high field working accuracy or maximized energy efficiency can be obtained on the tractor operation, and by which a tractor field-work can be measured sufficiently on the study. In this report, the hard- and soft-ware construction of the monitor is described. The monitor can provide the operator with instant access to critical performance data, such as real travel speed, shaft rotational speed, flow-rate of materials, field capacity or efficiency of the practice which hitherto not been available during operation. The monitor can be adopted to universal use and is given consideration to safety. In the next report, the influence of environment to the monitor performance and how to utilize the monitor to a tractor will be described
