Development structure of the laver aquaculture and its competition between cultivating regions

The purpose of this study is to clarify the development structure of laver aquaculture from the viewpoint of competition between the cultivating regions, and to search the development direction of the laver aquaculture in 21st century. Three subjects were investigated in this study. Firstly, the development characteristics were clarified by verifying the environmental conditions surrounding the laver aquaculture. Secondly, the competition mechanism in the cultivating regions was clarified through chasing their migration. On basis of the above studies, thirdly, we also have discussed on the future developing direction of the laver aquaculture. It is concluded that the cultivating regions with a strong organization that can bind the innovative farmers, which are always consistent on cost down and product differentiation, will become the leaders of laver aquaculture in 21st century.
