Summary Singapore and New Zealand have signed an Agreement on a Closer Economic Partnership (ANZSCEP) on 14th November 2000. But all products exported from Singapore to New Zealand can not be applied to zero tariff rate under the ANZSCEP. Which products will be entitled to be zero tariff? The purpose of this paper is to examine the rules of origins in ANZSCEP and to compare the rules of origin between ANZSCEP and JSEPA (The Japan-Singapore Economic Agreement for a New Age Partnership).
