Correlations among arm sucker count, wet weight and dry weight were estimated using 20 batches of 0-32 days old artificially reared paralarvae of common octopus, Octopus vulgaris. The regression equations were calculated as follows: Y= 1.587 e(0.157x) Z= 0.259e(0.161x), Z=0.105+0.165Y, where X is the arm sucker count, Y is the wet weight (mg) and Z is the dry weight (mg) . All coefficients of determination were high (0.94 - 0.98) and the estimated regression lines were significant (n=20, P0.0001).
