Breeding of new spray type chrysanthemum cultivars, 'NAGASAKI SRC1' and 'NAGASAKI AYC1'

We bred two new small-flowered chrysanthemum cultivars, 'NAGASAKI SRC1' and 'NAGASAKI AYC1'. Their characteristics are as follows. 1) 'NAGASAKI SRC1' : Flower color is deep red, stem length is long, petal is semi-doubled flowered, diameter of top flower is medium, the time of bloom is Early-July under natural day length. Restraint of the flowering is possible under light culture. 2) 'NAGASAKI AYC1' : Flower color is yellow, stem length is long, petal is semi-doubled flower, diameter of flower is medium and the time of bloom is October. Leaf is upright and leaflet. Since blooming is well concentrated and lateral branch, which occur lower than 30 cm from top is few, shipping adjustment is easy.
