This report is concerned with long-term conservation and management of the impenetrable forest. Specifically this report assesses the conservation values of the Inpenetrable; describes and evaluates management/conservation problems in the Inpenetrable; explores the importance of conserving the Inpenetrable as an integral part of Ugandas strategy for conservation-based development; and makes recommendations to help ensure that the Inpenetrable is conserved and that its present and future contributions to the people of Uganda are not diminished.
