1986
Nyoro, J.K. | Roe, J.D.M.
Explores the economic characteristics of farming systems in the main coffee areas in Kenya. Based on farm surveys of 1983/84 and 1984/85, a series of farm models were developed to represent different agroecological zones and smallholder farm sizes. Comparisons of the cost and income structures of smallholder coffee and the differences in the level of net revenues and disposable cash income which exists between the agroecological zones and farm sizes are presented. And a break-even farm size is defined which can support a smallholder family
