English. Results from the agronomic evaluation of phosphate rock materials using isotopic techniques showed increases in dry matter production, P uptake and L values. All these parameters were directly related to the solubility of P sources in an Ultisol from Venezuela. In an Andisol of Chile 3.8 and 6.4, 1.2 and 1.3 and 0.7 and 0.8 kg P from Bahia Inglesa and Bayovar phosphate rocks were equivalent to 1 kg P from TSP during the first, second and third year respectively in a wheat-oat-wheat rotation

El metodo de intercambio del isotopo sup32P, aunque no destructivo, presenta la ventaja de proveer tres parametros basicos para determinar la dinamica del P en el suelo, cantidad, intensidad y capacidad. Resultados de evaluaciones agronomicas de materiales a base de rocas fosfatadas usando tecnicas isotopicas mostraron aumentos en la produccion de materia seca, toma de P, y valores L. Todos estos parametros fueron directamente relacionados a la solubilidad de la fuente de P en un Ultisol de Venezuela.
