This article describes the feed intake of eland (oryx) through a series of trials over a period of 3 years. The feed intake was estimated directly by means of the esofagual fistula technique at the Sonop Research Statio in north-east of Namibia. An evaluation of the percentage bush, grass and weeds in the diet was also assessed.
