Dutch; Flemish. Om bij toediening op grasland de verliezen terug te dringen kan diepe of ondiepe mestinjectie of zodebemesting worden toegepast. Ook sleepvoeten- of sleufkoutermachines geven goede resultaten. Een geheel andere techniek om de verliezen terug te dringen is het aanzuren van mest met salpeterzuur.
