Questions and answers : facts and figures about the World Bank Group - Fall 1998
Priovolos, Theophilos | Dunietz, Tamar
The report, although primarily intended for World Bank staff, is a valuable reference tool for anyone interested in the work of the Bank, given that its purpose is to respond to frequently asked questions by media, nongovernmental organizations, and the public at large. The report has two sections: Section One, "Facts and Figures" covers the general administrative, organizational, and financial facts to help the reader understand how the Bank operates; and, Section Two, "Questions and Answers" discusses regional, and topical issues, currently "in the news", in a Q&A format. The main table of contents includes subjects from membership, and eligibility criteria, through organizational aspects, and the Bank affiliates, to the development focus of the Bank, through its Strategic Compact, Knowledge Management, and networks, including the Bank's lending information for the year.
