Central areas of Bogota city enjoy efficient aqueduct and sewer services. However, along the peripheral areas such efficient aqueduct and sewer services are deficient. They especially lack critical sanitary sewer and rain water drainage systems. This Environmental Impact Study, Santafe I, discusses concerning issues, alternatives and environmental components to improve the aqueduct and sewer conditions of these peripheral areas of Bogota city. The primary objective of this study is to improve the health and sanitation needs of peripheral communities.
