This document is a concise presentation of the report, "Thailand: Building Partnerships for Environmental and Natural Resources Management (report no. 21288)." This abridged version provides an introduction to the state of the environment in Thailand, highlights current trends and responses, and sets forth the major challenges that Thailand faces in its efforts to reverse the environmental decline of the last few decades. In addition to this, key areas for environmental improvements are identified through five strategic themes.
