Spanish; Castilian. Se comprobó el efecto de la fertilización nitrogenada (100 kg/ha de N) con fraccionamiento y sin él, sobre él ataque e infestación de la caña de azúcar por Diatraca saccharalis. El suelo fue Ferralítico Rojo y la variedad Ja 60-5. La aplicación de nitrógeno aumentó el porcentaje de infestación y de intensidad de ataque de la plaga; el fraccionamiento del fertilizante, aplicándolo al inicio del gran período de crecimiento, hizo mayor este efecto.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. The effect of nitrogenous fertilization (100 kg/ha N) with fractioning and without it was tested upon the attack and infestation of sugarcane by Diatraca saccharalis. Cultivar Ja 60-5 was planted on Red Ferralytic soil. The application of nitrogen increased the percentage of infestation and the attack intensity of the plague. Applying the fractioning of fertilizer at the beginning of the great growth period made this effect even greater.
