Groundnut is the second most widely grown crop in Uganda and there has been substantial increase in growing groundnuts as both a food and cash crop because of its value as a source of protein and oil. This manual describes good management practices for groundnut production, such as proper timing of activities, spacing, use of quality seed, weeding, control of diseases and pests, harvesting, drying and storage.
