The differential characters of the cultivated tree Taxodium ascendens Brongn. and Taxodium distichum L. Rich. trees in the Banja Koviljaca Park, Serbia, are described. Taxodium ascendens Brongn. is differentiated as the adaptive and fastgrowing conifer for the conditions in Serbia.
