The production, economic and utility value of apricot

A slight average increase in the number of productive trees (rate of change 0.17%) and accomplished average apricot production (rate of change 0.24%) were observed in the 1991-2005 period. These increases were a result of this production increase during the 2001-2005 period. The investment value of 1 ha apricot plantation amounts to approximately 4,000 EUR. Planting costs of 1,250 EUR/ha amounts to 31.3% of the total costs of the plantation establishment. A sum of 441,000 RSD/ha, or 5,000 EUR/ha can be profited in the regular apricot production.
