Author investigates the support of the state with regard to financing the agricultural sector over the past period. This being the aim, the author analyzes the credit placement from the central bank primary issuing, which had long been the realible and standing source of funding agriculture and which had taken into account all the specificities of its production. This form of state support was terminated by the Programme of the monetary system reconstruction from January 1994, with the background explanation that it leads to increasing the inflation rate. This paper also investigates the agrarian budget as a pooled and consolidated form of the state support to agriculture which is implemented through subsidizing the agricultural production. Agrarian budget funds were from 2004 to 2006 exploited for the purpose of financing agricultural production, which represents a very specific form of the state support and which used to be realized through commercial banks.
