The author is analizing the development problems of agriculture of the Republic of Serbia in the first decade of twenty first century. He started from global economic and finacial crisis, that effects on agriculture of the Republic of Serbia, and whose development is continuous followed by chronical problems, due to the lack of systematical and continuous measures of economical and agrarian policy. Based on the significant empirical materials, the author distinguished six groups of problems for agriculture of the Republlic of Serbia: 1) unpropitious holding structure of agriculture and nonstructure of commodity producers; 2) inordinateness of trading with agricultural products; 3) noncompetitiveness; 4) inadequate roll of the State; 5) demographic problems of agriculture population; 6) global economic crisis.
