The spatial variability of chlorsulphuron pattern in the sod-podzolic soil arable horizon was considered and thought to be a normal one. Calculation showed that spatial distribution parameters for residual amounts of this herbicide in the soil may be used as criteria to evaluate the requirements to the precision of mathematical models, which describe the herbicide degradation process and help to determine the number of samples and replications
