Treating seeds and cabbage seedlings with a solution of hydrogen peroxide
1993
Kunavin, G.A.
It has been stated that treating cabbage seeds with a 10-15 % solution of hydrogen peroxide during 20 minutes, watering the plants with a 6 % solution at 1-2 l/m2 at the stage of forming the second real leaf promotes the increase in the quality of seeds and seedlings, the raise of cabbage yielding by 7.6-15.3 t/ha. The decrease in the age of seedlings to be treated does not reduce the productivity of plants. Cabbage yielding from 40 days seedlings on the variant without treating was 66.4 t/ha, in the case of seed tresting from 35-days seedlings - 73.9, from 30-days in combination with plant treating - 72.1 t/ha
