[Conceptual model of adaptive grassland forage production in the farming system]

A conceptual model of adaptive grassland culture with allowance for optimum nature utilization and social and economic conditions of the farm has been developed. Grassland culture is considered a component of forage production carried out within zonal-landscape farming. Data confirming universal significance of perennial grass stands in agriculture are presented, they are also considered the most efficient buffers between man and nature. The system of forecasting the efficiency of radical improvement in grass lands which takes into consideration natural and social-economic conditions of the farms is suggested
