Russian.

It was established that the nutrient digestibility of feed in ruminants may be increased by a biologically active substance which is not contained in the conventional feeding means and creates favorable conditions for the growth and development of microflora in the gastrointestinal tract, and primarily in the rumen, which results in an increase in digestibility. The objective is to determine the effectiveness of the use of siliceous marl from the Mainsk formation in the Uljanovsk region as a part of complex mineral supplement (CMD) for lactating cows in the pasture period. The objectives of the research were: to develop a recipe and cook a pilot batch of complex mineral supplements to include in its composition siliceous marl; to determine the effect of marl on milk productivity of experimental animals. To solve the task there was carried out scientific and economic experiment in MIS OPH Povolzhskaya Samara region. There were formed 2 groups of cows peers, 10 heads in each group. In the control group, the main diet consisted of green mass of annual and perennial crops and grain mixture, to the cows of the experimental group a comprehensive mineral supplement was administered. CMD was included into the grain mixture, based on 8.0% by weight. Calculations on the cost of feed per unit of milk products have shown that the cows of the experimental group compared to the control consumed per 1 kg of 4% milk fat content less than the metabolizable energy by 0.61 mJ, or 6.8% of crude protein by 6 g, or 5.6%, concentrate feed by 35 g or 13.4%.Thus, the studies suggest that the use of siliceous marl from the Mainsk formation in the Ulyanovsk region in the complex mineral supplement in diets of cows increase their milk production by 4.2%, based on a 4-% milk.
