Влияние "холодного" метода выращивания телят на показатели естественной резистентности при ОРВИ крупного рогатого скота | Influence of the "cold" method of growing calves on indexes of natural resistance in acute respiratory viral infections of cattle

English. Studies of effect of moderately low temperatures with the "cold method" of growing calves were done. The experiment was done in Sverdlovsk region on two groups of calves with 30 animals in each. The calves of the experimental group were kept in individual cells or houses in unheated rooms under conditions of moderately low temperatures from 2-3 months of age. Calves of the control group were placed in typical cattle-breeding buildings with conventional technology of growing at air temperature of 12-15 deg C. It is established that the application of the "cold method" increased the resistance of the calves' organisms by the 14th day of life. The erythrocytes, hemoglobin and lymphocytes of the calves of the experimental group were elevated, which indicates the activation of the adaptation mechanisms to the cold factor. By 1 month of age, when grown under moderately low temperatures, there was also a significant increase in the content of erythrocytes and hemoglobin (by 1.3 and 1.6 times respectively), relative count of lymphocytes and the number of immunocompetent cells. Thus, the "cold method" of growing makes it possible to form high indices of natural resistance of calves to the transition "critical" period of their life, which is the basis for the prevention of infectious diseases of the viral etiology.

Russian. Исследовали воздействие умеренно низких температур при "холодном" методе выращивания телят. Опыт проведен в Свердловской обл. на 2 гр. телят по 30 гол. в каждой. Телят опытной группы содержали в индивидуальных клетках или домиках в неотапливаемых помещениях в условиях умеренно-низких температур до 2…3-месячного возраста. Телят контрольной группы разместили в типовых животноводческих помещениях с традиционной технологией выращивания при температуре воздуха от 12 до 15 град. С. Установлено, что при выращивании по "холодному" методу у телят уже к 14-м суткам жизни повышается резистентность организма. У телят опытной группы увеличивается содержание эритроцитов, гемоглобина и лимфоцитов, что свидетельствует об активации адаптационных механизмов к холодовому фактору. К 1-месячному возрасту при выращивании в условиях умеренно-низких температур также отмечено достоверное увеличение содержания эритроцитов и гемоглобина (соответственно в 1,3 и 1,6 раза), относительного содержания лимфоцитов, числа иммунокомпетентных клеток. Таким образом, "холодный" метод выращивания позволяет сформировать высокие показатели естественной резистентности у телят к переходному "критическому" периоду их жизни, что является основой профилактики инфекционных заболеваний вирусной этиологии.
