INFLUENCE OF ELEMENTS OF CULTIVATION TECHNOLOGY AND WEATHER CONDITIONS ON FORAGE PRODUCTIVITY OF MAIZE HYBRIDS UNDER NON-IRRIGATED CONDITIONS IN THE STEPPE ZONE OF THE CRIMEA | ВЛИЯНИЕ ЭЛЕМЕНТОВ ТЕХНОЛОГИИ ВОЗДЕЛЫВАНИЯ И МЕТЕОУСЛОВИЙ НА КОРМОВУЮ ПРОДУКТИВНОСТЬ ГИБРИДОВ КУКУРУЗЫ В НЕОРОШАЕМЫХ УСЛОВИЯХ СТЕПНОЙ ЗОНЫ КРЫМА

English. The aim of the research was to identify optimum planting dates and plant density for maize hybrids of different maturity groups to provide the highest yield of herbage under rain-fed conditions of the steppe zone of the Crimea. The experimental studies were carried out in the FSBSI "Research Institute of Agriculture of Crimea" from 2016 to 2019 according to the methodology for conducting field experiments with maize. The experimental design included the following options: planting dates (Factor A) - April 5, 15 and 25; plant density (Factor B) - 40; 50; 60; 70 thousand plants/ha; meteorological conditions of the years of research (Factor C). The total area of the experimental plot is 50 m2, accounting area is 25 m2. Field experiments were replicated four times. Soil of the experimental plot is chernozems southern low-humus. Selyaninov Hydrothermal Coefficient (HTC) during the growing season of maize (April-September) was 1.46 in 2016; 0.34 in 2017; 0.79 in 2018; 0.78 in 2019. Hydrothermal conditions of the growing season had the most considerable influence on the yield of green mass and dry matter of maize hybrids of different maturity groups. On average, for the period from 2016 to 2019, the optimum plant density for hybrids was 70 thousand plants per hectare. The best planting dates for early-ripening maize hybrid 'Nur' was April 15th, when the yield of herbage was 19.9 t/ha, dry matter - 7.48 t/ha, collection of digestible protein - 0.41 t/ha, metabolic energy - 81.622 GJ ha. For the mid-early hybrid 'Mashuk 220 MV', the recommended planting dates are April 15th and 25th, when the yield of herbage was 18.48 and 19.12 t/ha, dry matter - 6.58 and 6.40 t/ha, collection of digestible protein - 0.33 and 0.42 t/ha, metabolic energy - 70.94 and 70.81 GJ/ha. Medium ripening hybrid 'Mashuk 355 MV' must be sown on April 5th; in this case, the yield of herbage was 21.08 t/ha, dry matter - 7.65 t/ha, collection of digestible protein - 0.48 t/ha, metabolic energy - 87.83 GJ/ha. The proportion of maize cobs in the dry matter for this three hybrids was below 50% due to early harvest because of drought when the leaves on the plants died prematurely.

Устанавливали оптимальные сроки сева и густоту стояния растений для формирования наибольшей урожайности зеленой массы гибридов кукурузы разных групп спелости в неорошаемых условиях степной зоны Крыма. Работу выполняли в 2016-2019 гг. в соответствии с методическими рекомендациями по проведению полевых опытов с кукурузой. Материалом исследования служили 3 гибрида - Нур, Машук 220 МВ, Машук 355 МВ. Схема опыта включала варианты: срок сева (фактор А) - 5, 15 и 25 апреля; густота стояния растений (фактор В) - 40, 50, 60, 70 тыс. раст./га; метеоусловия лет исследований (фактор С). Уборку осуществляли в фазе молочно-восковой спелости зерна. Общая площадь делянки 50 м2, учетная - 25 м2, повторность - четырехкратная. Почва - чернозем южный слабогумусированный. Гидротермический коэффициент за период апрель-сентябрь составил: в 2016 г. - 1,46, 2017 г. - 0,34, 2018 г. - 0,79 и 2019 г. - 0,78. Наибольшее влияние на урожайность зеленой массы и сухого вещества (СВ) гибридов оказывали гидротермические условия вегетационного периода. В среднем за годы исследования установлена оптимальная густота стояния растений - 70 тыс. раст./га. Лучшим сроком сева для раннеспелого гибрида Нур оказалось 15 апреля: урожайность зеленой массы составила 19,9 т/га, СВ - 7,48 т/га, сбор переваримого протеина - 0,41 т/га, обменной энергии - 81,62 ГДж/га. Для среднераннего гибрида Машук 220 МВ рекомендованы сроки сева 15 и 25 апреля, при которых урожайность зеленой массы составила 18,48 и 19,12 т/га, СВ - 6,58 и 6,40 т/га, сбор переваримого протеина - 0,33 и 0,42 т/га, обменной энергии - 70,94 и 70,81 ГДж/га соответственно. Среднеспелый гибрид Машук 355 МВ необходимо высевать 5 апреля, при этом сроке сева урожайность зеленой массы составила 21,08 т/га, СВ - 7,65 т/га, сбор переваримого протеина - 0,48 т/га, обменной энергии - 87,83 ГДж/га. Доля початков в СВ для 3 гибридов была ниже 50%, что связано с ранней уборкой в связи с засухой, когда листья на растениях преждевременно отмирали.
