Особенности водного режима и видового состава растительности на гарях в степной зоне ленточных боров Алтайского края для обоснования биологической рекультивации | The features of the water regime and vegetation species composition in burnt areas in the steppe zone of the belt pine forests of the Altai Region to substantiate biological recultivation

English. There have been substantiated the conditions of biological recultivation of sod-podzol soil in burnt areas in the steppe zone of the belt pine forests of the Altai Region. The belt pine forests are a unique natural formation performing protective, social, raw material functions, and also ensure the environmental safety of the steppe part of the region. The high fire danger of pine stands leads to the formation of burnt forests and burnt areas. Dry and very dry forest growth conditions, complex mesorelief, changeable microclimatic regime of the soils of burnt areas slow down the reforestation process. The extreme conditions regarding moistening develop in the soil profile at the tops of low ridges in burnt areas. Forest fires form a certain moisture regime of sod-podzol soils on burnt areas. The experimental data on the moisture content of the sod-podzol soil were obtained on the burnt areas in two natural sub-zones within the belt pine forests of the Altai Region: the steppe zone, the dry-steppe subzone - Korostelevskiy pine forest (Ozero-Kuznetsovskoye Forest District); the steppe zone, the arid-steppe subzone - Srostinskiy pine forest (Volchikhinskoye Forest District). Samples were collected thrice for the vegetation period on each specific burnt area and in the control forest site. The values of soil moisture content at the depth of 0, 10, 20, 40, 60 cm were compared. It has been found that in summer, an intensive process of soil profile drying on the burnt areas is observed, where the soil moisture content on the surface decreases to 0.53%. There have been developed bioamelioration patterns for forming sustainable plantations. Pattern 1 for dry forest growth conditions (A1) comprises planting pine tree (7-8 ths pcs/ha) in 30-35 rows every 0.8 m between belts of bog willow (silver willow) located every 50 m. The area occupied by pine trees must be 90-92%. Pattern 2 for fresh (A2) and wet (A3) forest growth conditions comprises solid planting of pine trees in bog willow spacing, but with Siberian pea shrub (fever tree) introduced as pure rows every 2 rows of pine trees. The participation of pine is 70-95%, planting rate is 5-6 ths pcs/ha.

Russian. Цель исследований – обосновать условия для проведения биологической рекультивации дерново-подзолистой почвы на гарях в степной зоне ленточных боров Алтайского края. Ленточные боры Алтайского края – это уникальное природное образование. Они выполняют защитные, социальные, сырьевые функции, а также обеспечивают экологическую безопасность степной части края. Повышенная горимость сосновых насаждений в ленточных борах Алтайского края приводит к образованию горельников и гарей. Сухие и очень сухие лесорастительные условия, сложный мезорельеф, изменчивый микроклиматический режим почв на гарях замедляют естественный и искусственный лесовозобновительный процесс. Экстремальные условия по увлажнению складываются в почвенном профиле на вершинах грив на гарях. Лесные пожары формируют определенный режим влажности дерново-подзолистых почв на гарях в ленточных борах Алтайского края. Экспериментальные данные по влажности дерново-подзолистой почвы получены на гарях в двух природных подзонах в пределах ленточных боров Алтайского края: степная зона, сухостепная подзона – Коростелёвский бор (Озеро-Кузнецовское лесничество), степная зона, засушливо-степная подзона – Сростинский бор (Волчихинское лесничество). В летний период наблюдается интенсивный процесс иссушения почвенного профиля на гарях, где влажность почвы на поверхности снижается до 0,53%. Используя биологическую мелиорацию, можно создавать смешанные посадки сосны с шелюгой для формирования устойчивых насаждений.
