The assessment of breeding resources of stud horses in the Udmurt Republic | Оценка состояния племенных ресурсов лошадей заводских пород в Удмуртской Республике

English. The research purpose was to assess the breeding stock conditions of stud horses in the Udmurt Republic. The research tasks were to analyze the dynamics of the total stock in the Republic, to study the breed and class composition of the stock of stud horses. The study was conducted on Russian Heavy Draft (58 heads), Orlovsky Trotter horses (30 heads) in breeding enterprises of the Udmurt Republic: OOO Druzhba of Uvinsky District, Udmurtskaya State Stable Farm with a hippodrome. The study material was data from the Regional Office of the Federal State Statistics Service for the Udmurt Republic, primary zootechnical accounting data, the database of the All-Russian Research Institute of Horse Breeding Information and Retrieval System "Koni-3", and data of own research. An analysis of the stock number dynamics for 19 years showed that the quantitative composition changed from year to year in a decent path from 12,600 heads in 2004 to 2,600 in 2023. At the date of 01.01.2023 Udmurtskaya Farm had 29 stallions of 4 breeds, where the largest share in the stock structure was occupied by representatives of the Russian Heavy Draft – 62% (18 heads), Orlovsky Trotter – 24% (7 stallions). Stallions in the number of 85.7% were assessed as an elite class, however, the measurements of the stallions were inferior to the standard indicators established for the breeds. The linear composition of Russian Heavy Draft stallions in the Udmurtskaya Farm is quite diverse, and the stock is represented by 5 lines: Gradus, Podenshchik, Rubin, Rubikon, Svist. The existing composition of the Druzhba farm is represented by 4 stallions belonging to three lines: Rubikon, Gradus and Kovarny. The stallions are not inferior to the breed standard in all measurements, except for the oblique body length of 2.4 cm. The broodmares of the stud farm correspond to the breed standard in measurements and indices. The breeding stock of the Orlovsky Trotter horses as on 01.01.2024 was represented by 20 mares of different ages, but relatively young. The age limits of broodmares are between 3 and 19 years. The group of mares belongs to 4 lines: Pion, Pilot, Otboy, Barchuk; 85% of the breeding stock belongs to the elite class.

Russian. Цель исследований - оценка состояния племенного поголовья лошадей заводских пород, разводимых в Удмуртской Республике. Задачи исследований: проанализировать динамику общей численности поголовья в республике, изучить породный и классный состав поголовья лошадей заводских пород. Исследование проводилось в племенных предприятиях Удмуртской Республики: ООО "Дружба" Увинского района, БУ УР ГЗК "Удмуртская" с ипподромом" на лошадях русской тяжеловозной (58 голов) и орловской рысистой (30 голов) пород. Материалом для изучения стали данные Территориального органа Федеральной службы государственной статистики по Удмуртской Республике, данные первичного зоотехнического учета, база данных ВНИИ коневодства ИПС "Кони-3", собственные исследования. Анализ динамики численности поголовья за 19 лет показал, что количественный состав менялся из года в год по снижающейся траектории: с 12600 голов в 2004 г. до 2600 в 2023 г. ГЗК "Удмуртская" на 01.01.2023 г. насчитывала 29 жеребцов-производителей четырех пород, где наибольшую долю в структуре поголовья занимали представители русской тяжеловозной породы – 62% (18 голов), орловской рысистой – 24% (7 жеребцов). 85,7% производителей оценены классом элита, однако промеры жеребцов-производителей уступают стандартным показателям, установленным для пород. Линейный состав жеребцов русской тяжеловозной породы в ГЗК "Удмуртская" достаточно разнообразен, поголовье представлено пятью линиями: Градуса, Поденщика, Рубина, Рубикона, Свиста. Существующий состав племенного конного завода ООО "Дружба" представлен четырьмя жеребцами-производителями, принадлежащими к трем линиям: Рубикона, Градуса и Коварного. Жеребцы не уступают стандарту породы по всем промерам, кроме косой длины туловища на 2,4 см. Конематки конного завода по промерам и индексам соответствуют стандарту породы. Маточный состав орловской рысистой породы на 01.01.2024 г. представлен 20 разновозрастными кобылами, но является относительно молодым. Возрастные границы маток находятся в пределах от трех до 19 лет. Группа кобыл принадлежит к четырем линиям – Пиона, Пилота, Отбоя, Барчука, 85% маточного поголовья относится к классу элита.
