Effects of post-harvest treatment and storage conditions of maize on product quality

Grain postharvest treatment is one of the most important factors for quality ensurance of the final product. Postharvesting machinery and technology may influence grain damage significantly. Aim of the scientific monograph was to evaluate the effect of postharvesting machinery and technology including the grain storage on the external and internal quality of maize at selected farm. Following experimental measurements were carried out in order to reach the aim: determination of effect of the machinery mechanism on maize quality parameters, determination of selected agro-physical parameters of food maize, determination of effect of the different elements of process line on maize grain damage, determination of storage conditions on maize quality.
