This document describes the methods and data sources used to create a database of global montly climate surfaces at a 10-minute resolution. The database includes seven climate variables. Temperature and precipitation data were derived from existing continental and global databases. With the exception of the data for North America, Europe, Siberia, and Australia, these databases were at a resolution of 10-minutes or less. radiation was estimated form global could cover data. Except for Africa and Asia, potential evapotranspiration was estimated from temperature and radiation data. Relative humidity was derived from a database at a much coarser resolution.
