The paper presented the output of a research work "Establishment of wetland classification serviceable as the base for making wetland distribution map at scale 1/1.000.000". This map should be used for management of wetlands at national level according to the Government Decision No 109/2003/NDCP dated 23/9/2003. It should also be usable for socio-economic development planning at the wetland areas.
