For years the position of Vietnam tea, especial Tan Cuong tea - Thai Nguyen province is not a stable position, when Viet Nam integrated into World Trade Organization (WTO). Causes many problems, but food safety is still the major obstacle, as residues of plant protection chemicals (Cypemethrin, Fenvalerate, methamidophos...) of the black tea sample, is beyond the standards of the European Union (EU). Analysis methods of toxic indicators As, Cd, Pb, Hg and residues of plant protection chemicals to determine the effects of toxic substances to the development of trademark 'Tan Cuong specialty tea'. Analysis results showed that the content of toxic substances As, Ca, Cu, Pb, Zn in 06 soil samples were lower than permissible level of TCVN (Vietnam Standard) 6649: 2000, TCVN (Vietnam Standard) 6946: 1999; maximum allowable limits of contents Hg, Cd, A s, Pb in the water for tea is Hg 0.1 Mg/l and the content As change from 0.022 _Ýg/1 to 0.026 Mg/l, indicators are lower than the maximum allowable limits.
