The results showed that the application of ethylene chlorohydrin plus water (1:5 v/v) on "Lambrusco Maestri" and "Mulvasia Bianca" wine grapes caused 100 percent bud burst and shoot length of 22.04 cm. and 20.25 cm., respectively. The application of 20 percent calcium cyanamide plus 50 percent merit (1:1 v/v) on "Sangiovese R." winegrape caused 100 percent bud burst and shoot length of 16.7 cm. In "Trebbiano Toscano" winegrape, the application of ethylene chlorohydrin plus water (1:5 v/v) caused 100 percent bud burst and 20 percent calcium cyanamide plus 50 percent merit (1:1 v/v) caused shoot length of 35.40 cm.
