The present study reveals two Thai plant species, i.e. Scheffera venulosa Harms (Hanumarnprasanguy) and Cymbopogon nardus Rendle (Takraihorm) containing some quantities of repellent chemicals. These chemicals affected the diamondback moth larvae under the laboratory conditions. Both of them, moreover, showed an equal magnitude of repelling activity.
