Growth and survival rate of 5 mangrove species; Rhizophora apiculata, R. mucronata, Bruguiera cylindrice, B. parvillora and Ceriops tagal, planted on the area after mining were studied at Amphoe Takua Pa, Changwat Phangnga. The two Rhizophoras, R. apiculata and R. mucronata were most suitable to be planted on the areas after mining as compared with the other three mangrove species.
