NPV (2+10 (exp. 9) PIB/ml alone at the rate of 25, 50, 75 and 100 ml/20 liters were considered to be effective dose for controlling bollworm on tomato when applied at 5 days interval. In alternative spray and tank mixed of cyhalothrin L and NPV (20 ml/20 liters : 50 ml/20 liters) also gave effective control for bollworm. Among the 4 effective dosages of NPV mentioned earlier, when cost and benefit of control were taken into consideration, the NPV at the rate of 50 ml/20 liters should be recommended. Integrated control between NPV and insecticides, cyhalothrin L at rate of 20 ml/20 liters and methomyl at the rate of 20 ml/20 liters in alternative spray should be employed.
