Field trial of Cowpea Rhizobium inoculation on mungbean cultivar U-Thong 1 in dry season was conducted at Kalasin and Chainat provinces during January-May 1985. The use of Cowpea Rhizobium plus phosphate and potash fertilizer (9-6 Kg P2O5-K2O/rai) increased the highest yield on mungbean at Kalasin. At Chainat by using of Chemical fertilizer at the rate 12-9-6 kg. N-P2O5-K2O/rai increased the highest yield on mungbean. For the most economical return, Rhizobium inoculation alone gave the highest income.
